Good morning Let’s try to have some energy God is with us The worship was very powerful
today They remind me of a story in the Old Testament. King Jehovah of Judah, he is
surrounded by a very great army. They were surely going to die. I don’t know if any of you
really face death.
But it’s very scary. One time I was working at my uncle’s store. I was working at my uncle’s
store. I saw the young guy, a pack of cigarettes.
He took it and started to run. I was so angry. So I ran after him. I was very fast. He was a
young black man so he was fast too. He ran down the subway but it was locked.
So now he was trapped. Yeah, nowhere to go. So I looked pretty strong, he was scared.
And then he took out a gun.
First time ever. Somebody put a gun on me. In one second, your mouth goes so dry. So
imagine what they must have felt when a great army is surrounding them with so much
fear and terror.
And then they start to cry and they start praying to the Lord. And God sends them a very
beautiful message. He said, you won’t even have to fight. I will fight for you.
He said to send out your worship team and when they begin to worship, the enemy will be
confused and they will kill one another.
So thank you Worship Team. I think we are already victorious. It makes my job very easy.
You do the 90% of the work, and I can now do the 10%. But let’s look to our neighbor and
say, God will fight for you. Do not fear. Do not fear. God will fight for you. When we trust
in the Lord every step, He takes care.
So no matter what happens, we only look to the Lord. Every step, we have hope and God
is with us. No need to fear. God is strong. He can do anything.
And that’s because he loves us so very much. The Lord will fight for you. When the
Israelites, they were coming out of Egypt, they had nowhere to run because Egypt was
following them.
In our human understanding, zero percent chance there is no way we can win. But when
God says, do not fear, I will fight for you. And the sea parted.
This is our God. He is the creator of the entire universe. And it’s very important that we
know this big God. He can do anything. He is worthy to be known. We have to know this
God.
There are parts about God we can’t know, and there are parts about God we cannot know.
For instance, when God says, I am a god, the same yesterday, today, tomorrow, I do not
change.
This we cannot understand because we change. God says I am everywhere. He knows
every single hair. He knows how many are the numbers in your hair. These are things we
don’t know about God.
But there are things we know about God. That He is good. That this powerful God is a God
of love. This is very, very good news for us. So let’s turn to our neighbor one more time.
And they say, God is love. One verse that is repeated through our scripture, it tells us
about God. That God is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in
steadfast love. Psalm 103. It tells us about who God is.
He’s very, very merciful in comparison. Meaning, when he looks at us, it’s like a father
looking at his son. Both of my sons have eczema. They have eczema.
Their whole life they scratch. Whenever they scratch, my eye automatically look. With so
much compassion. What can I do to take that away? And a lot of times there’s nothing I
can do. But only heartbreak. So in the same way, God looks with so much compassion.
And so we’re going to look at a passage today that we all know is very, very popular. Luke
chapter 15, the product was done. If you are a Christian, you want to probably turn off. I’ve
seen this movie so many times. My daughter likes the movie Frozen.
It’s a Disney movie, Frozen. When she was three years old, she watched it maybe five
times a day. So you may have heard the story, but this is nevertheless God’s word.
and an old thing can be new when our heart is renewed when our heart is good things that
we already know also taste good every time
So let’s look at this story. If we can read, it’s pretty long.

This is the first time I’ve ever met a person like you. When I met a person like you, I felt

Let’s pray. Thank you, Father. We thank you for your precious words. It’s better than gold.
It’s sweeter than honey. We celebrate your word. We ask the Holy Spirit to plant these
words in the hearts of your people. I ask that you provide good soil to multiply 30, 60 and
100 fold.
In Jesus’ name, Amen. When I first became a Christian, I spent many years doing the
homeless ministry. And in doing this, that’s actually how I met my wife. When you help the
homeless, God has a way of blessing you. But it’s important. We don’t want to help
homeless because we want blessing, but we do it because that’s the heart of God. That’s
God’s heart.
And why I began this ministry was because of a testimony I heard from a pastor in
Brooklyn. It’s one of the larger churches in America. He is a white pastor.
But most of his congregation are black. And the church experienced great revival. And it
was a time in New York where there were a lot of homelessness, a lot of drug use, and
very poor people in Brooklyn. Around this church were many homeless who were
alcoholics.
So he shared a testimony that one night there was a prayer meeting and as he called
people to the front to receive prayer, he noticed a homeless person coming up.
And he says that he was very tired because he did many prayer meetings. He didn’t want
to spend too much time with this homeless person so he prepared some money to just
give him and say go.
And as this person drew closer, he said he began to smell. So he was a very bad alcoholic.
He was out in the streets. You know, his own urine. He went to his house.
this whole body smelled like the bathroom it was so bad that he smelled them where
where he is right there he could smell already so he went and tried to give him the the
money that he had and said oh here this is all I have
And this homeless person said, I don’t want the money. He said, I heard you talk about
Jesus. I don’t want your money. I want this Jesus you’re talking about. The pastor
immediately began to cry.
She felt like a fraud In that moment when he said I want Jesus the Holy Spirit came The
power of God’s love He said to the pastor that that smell went away. And he said he
started to smell something so beautiful. He said, God said this to the pastor. He said, if
you don’t love this smell,
I cannot use you. And they embraced. The pastor brought him back to the house. For many
months he started drinking. He got clean. And that day when he shared the testimony, that
same person was at the church.
That homeless person came out to a church of more than 10,000 people to give a sermon.
That homeless person was now after 10 years. He became a pastor.
And he came out to preach. That testimony was so moving for me. Immediately I went out
to Penn Station to look for homeless.
I looked for the smelliest person. I saw a man in a wheelchair. Very, very dark. And I went a
little bit closer.
He’s the one. He’s the one. And I say, Jesus, yes, I can experience your love. I’m gonna do
that. I remember I just went, I hugged him. Waiting for God’s love to come.
But instead, when I breathe in, it felt like I breathed vinegar. It was like vinegar. So I was
hugging him like this.
And then I saw him and I had tears in my eyes. But that wasn’t from love. But you know, I
will share that through the years. I began to understand God’s love more and more. I
shared this kind of story. This pastor experienced God’s heart. So we see in this story the
prodigal son
And I want us to really focus on each character. We have the father and the two sons. So
we all know about the second son who asked for his father’s inheritance.
I don’t know if you have children, but if one of your children came to say, hey, give me my
inheritance. This is the same as saying, oh, I want you to die, father. But God, I mean, the
father gives him this inheritance.
So what kind of father is this? This doesn’t make sense. And Jesus is doing this on
purpose. He wants us to think. So the second son takes this money He goes to a faraway
land, squanders it with drinking and reckless living. And then a famine comes into the land.
He has no more money. So he cannot go back home because he’s so embarrassed. So he
has to work for another person.
And he had to do one of the worst jobs. To feed the pigs. And it says that he was so
hungry. He said he wanted to eat the same food the pigs ate.
And it says here, very important, it says he came to his senses, and he remembered his
father was rich. He remembered that his father had a lot of food, that even his servants
ate very well.
He’s so hungry, he said, no, I don’t care about my shape, I have to go back home. He
starts walking back home and he starts preparing a speech. Father, I don’t deserve to be
your son anymore.
Just make one of your servants. But it says the father saw him from far away. He was
filled with compassion and love.
It’s very possible that he was waiting for his son the whole time. And he runs after the son.
Immediately hugs him. And maybe he goes up. But imagine how much he must have
smelled being with the pigs. But the father didn’t care. He only wanted his son.
Do we understand this? So let’s ask a question. Who is God? And who are we? How often
in our lives are we longing to eat this food? Maybe this is a little bit harsh but I speak for
myself.
As soon as we leave the church As soon as we start to live our daily lives Some of us
immediately we are lost We forget God loves us We forget trusting in the Lord. We forget
how precious God’s Word is. And we take His inheritance of God’s glory and His love. And
often we squander and spend it.
On the wrong things. So maybe by Monday we can go back to Buddhism. Tuesday we’re
Muslim. Wednesday we believe in Confucius. So this story shows us our condition. But the
good news is…
God is always ready to receive us. He doesn’t care whether we’re dirty or not. It doesn’t
matter what we have done. We only need to turn to the Lord and go to God. And He will
embrace us. Now, the second character I want to talk about is the second son.
The second thought, very angry. He said, I stay home, be a dutiful son, I work so hard.
Nobody throws a party for me. Why is the father throwing this great party for someone like
him?
It’s a very good question. If you are a Christian, this is a very good question. I’m praying so
much. I’m doing everything right. I go to church, I read my Bible. Where is my party? Why is
life so hard? What’s happening? The Christian journey is so important to understand.
So let’s have one truth here. The goal, one goal of the Christian life is that God is making
us into the image of Jesus. If you are a believer and you have the Holy Spirit, You are
being transformed into the image of Jesus. So along this Christian journey, first you
recognize God and you know how good he is and you could be on fire for God and love
God and everything is so good.
And then the second phase is the life of discipleship and productivity. You read the Bible,
you go to church, you go to all the prayer meetings, you study a lot of the word. That’s the
second phase.
and the third phase of the Christian journey is along the Christian journey something bad
happens something that you don’t understand the pastor you respect something bad or
someone like your family member died something that you cannot understand happens
And after that you start to look inward. A lot of questions. And you begin to ask, is there
something wrong with my face? And then you hit a wall.
No more good feelings of God. Maybe God is not answering your prayer. A lot of people
are stuck at the wall.
I will venture to think most churches don’t have a program or something to help people
through this wall.
especially in the Asian, Korean, Chinese church especially because too much shame but
same for American churches same So we look at the story of Joseph. One example. We
look at the story of Joseph. His brothers betray and sell him into slavery. That’s a wall.
Why is this happening? And Joseph must say, I still trust God, I’m still grateful. And he still
works hard. He trusts God. And then the wife of his master accuses him of raping her.
They throw him into prison He has the gift of interpreting dreams He saves the king’s
servant’s life But he forgets about him and he remains in jail. We experience this war. We
don’t understand why this is happening to me. As so many Christians get stuck.
They go back to the old face. For some who have a lot of energy, they try to build a higher
wall to go over the wall. But this is only through the Holy Spirit.
This is a place of deep, deep surrender.
The wall is a place where the Holy Spirit helps you to lay down all of your dreams. The wall
is a place where you say not my will, but your will be done.
At the end of Joseph’s life, he becomes a very powerful man, second to the king, the
Pharaoh, he becomes very powerful. His brothers that sold him, they experience a famine,
so they have nowhere It’s hard to go but to Egypt where Joseph is to buy green. So
Joseph sees his brothers. His brothers that betrayed him and sold him.
And he suffered so much for so long. Now was his chance to take revenge. But if you
know the story, he doesn’t take revenge. He says, you meant it for evil, but God.
This is what it means to go through the wall To know God anew As I study the Christian
greats starting, we have 2,000 years of Christian history. And so many people of the faith
all say very similar things.
God is someone we can meet anew This may sound like heresy, but the Christian great
fathers that I know they talk about multiple conversions That they are born again again I
don’t know who needed to hear that, but I think this is God’s heart for Christians. I believe
he’s asking for deeper surrender.
Let’s go back to the story. Now we all are familiar with this story of the second son
returning, the father embraces him. And the second son, the other son is raising his fist at
God.
There’s bitterness there. This is very important to understand. You know, there’s a place in
the book of Acts. There is a sorcerer, someone who deals with evil spirits. His name is
Simon.
He hears the gospel preached from Paul and he’s actually converted. He sees Paul doing
amazing miracles. People are walking, getting healed. He was before this kind of person.
And he tries to offer Paul money to purchase gifts. Paul looks at him and sharply rebukes
him. He says, your heart is full of bitterness. And I believe Paul would say the same thing
to this son. Isn’t that very powerful? That sometimes as Christians, what we want to do for
God can come from a place of bitterness. Sometimes as Christians, we can walk out our
faith
From a place of bitterness. I said how come I don’t have that? Very dangerous. What am I
doing wrong? I’m doing everything that person is doing. Why is that person blessed and I
am not blessed? This is the whole world right now. Of envy. That’s bitterness. It’s poison
for your heart. So look how the father responds.
You already have everything. What are you missing? What don’t you have? Why are you
working so hard? You have my protection. You have my love. You’re my child.
Everything I have is yours. What’s the problem? This is very upsetting. It can be. Imagine
how God feels.
I think, you know, Pastor Ho, she said something a few weeks ago. And Chinese saying is
something like, um, you don’t realize you’re happy. If I say, hey, I give you today $10
million, very happy.
But tomorrow you die
We don’t realize we’re happy. What is one day worth?
You want to take the 10 million if you die tomorrow? They forget it. As Christians, we are
the most happy. We have the father’s love. We have his trust, his protection. And we are
like little children so worried about little things.
Let me tell you a Chinese story. So there was a father and son. They owned a nice horse.
And one day the horse ran away. And so the son was very sad. That was worth a lot of
money.
And he said, oh, this is a great curse. Our family is ruined. But the father said, oh, how do
you know? Maybe this is a blessing. One day, the horse returned.
In return for the husband, a big strong horse. They became rich, had more horses. And the
son said, oh, this is a great blessing. And the wife’s father said, how do you know this is a
blessing? Maybe it’s a curse? One day the son was riding the horse and he fell from the
horse and broke his head.
And then everybody in the town was laughing. You thought you were rich but now you
broke your hip. And the son said, oh, my life is ruined. I cannot walk. And he said, this is a
great curse.
And so the wise father said, how do you know? Maybe this is a blessing. And then a war
came. A war? And all the men had to go fight in the war. And in the war, 90% of all the
men died.
And because he was a handicap, he couldn’t go to work. So he had to take, he took care
of his father and he lived a long time. We do not know. In Proverbs 3…
Trust in the Lord with all your hearts. And lean not on your own understanding. In all your
ways, acknowledge Him.
And he will make straight your paths. My assignment to everyone here. And this is a
technique that I know monks do as well. But to practice every day.
This is my homework to everyone too. Every day, you remind yourself to trust in the Lord,
that He will fight for you, that He will take care of you, and all your ways to pray
unceasingly.
Never break your communication. Never stop praying. Never stop giving thanks. And to be
joyful. A cheerful heart is good medicine. And the Lord will direct your steps so you don’t
have to understand everything. The Lord establishes your steps. You don’t have to
understand anything. But you can understand the story.
What the word says. God’s great compassion for you. Great mercy for you. Even when we
smell like homeless, when we drink and we make a whole mess of our lives.
As if my child ran away, I would always welcome him back. As you already know, if your
child is having some kind of problem, a father has more love.
When your child has problems before, when you’re at 50% love, when they have a problem,
you’re at 100% love. This is who God is. You can trust Him. Every day.
You can call upon Him and say, Lord, remind me of your love. You should look for the
Christians. You may have been a Christian 10 years, 20 years, 30 years. God always wants
us to grow. And what that means is more Jesus.
To walk with him. To love him and to be loved by him. So this story is a story of us all. but
although we call this the prodigal son it’s actually according to Tim Keller this is about a
prodigal god prodigal god prodigal in chinese is uh this is the parable of the lost son so
the meaning of this word prodigal is um
So we see the second son, he spends everything. He’s very reckless. He spends money like
there’s infinite, infinite money. In the same way, This is actually about God who is
extravagantly reckless. He just cares. We all know the sunshine on everybody.
God doesn’t hide the sun from wicked people. Everybody get this fucking… God is
extremely generous. And when we go to God knowing Him, I can change certain things.
But I sense most of us here struggle with understanding this kind of God. It would take
many of you many years to understand this kind of God. Who loves without any condition.
Nothing you have to do. He loves you and he accepts you. For a long time, I couldn’t
understand this God. Even as a pastor, I couldn’t understand a God like this.
You know, there’s a Korean saying that says, like, when my wife asks me, why do you love
me? If I say, oh, because you’re pretty, oh, I get in big trouble.
It’s very dangerous to put a reason. Because one day, my wife will be 70, 80 years old. And
those reasons will disappear. So in Korea, when somebody asks why do you love me, we
just say, it means just.
Just because. No reason. You want a reason. Why do you love me? I just love you. All parts
of you. I accept. Therefore, you accept yourself. A major block for me to receive God’s
love was I cannot accept myself.
If you want to see where you don’t accept yourself, see how you behave to your children.
It’s a mirror. We say, don’t do this, don’t do that, don’t do this.
If you pay attention, you do the same thing to yourself. So many parts of yourself that you
cannot accept. And what has God said? I accept you? All parts of you.
So accept yourself. For me, a long time I struggled with anger. Because I didn’t accept
myself. But when I realized God accepts me, that he sees it.
Peace. It’s powerful. Fear, same thing. Anyways, I think I’m talking too much. I can talk for
a long time. Fear is the same thing. God accepts and loves. You have to hear this over and
over and over again. There is no human being that has ever shown you this kind of love.
Nobody.
Pure 100% grace So let’s pray Thank you father Sometimes we don’t see you for who you
are And you have said To Jonah that they do not know their left hand from the right hand.
That they don’t know from left hand from right hand. That on the cross you said they know
not what they do. Your compassion for us.
You already know we don’t understand ourselves You know all of our struggles You know
why we go to the pig’s food And you don’t judge us But you only call us home Come back
home Come to the father’s house. You don’t need to suffer. I have a feast waiting for you.
This is who you are. Soften our hearts that we may receive your love.

早上好!让我们打起精神来。神与我们同在。今天的敬拜非常有能力。
这让我想起旧约中的一个故事。犹大王约沙法,他被一支非常庞大的军队包围了。
他们必死无疑。我不知道你们中间是否有人真的面对过死亡。
但那非常可怕。有一次我在我叔叔的店里工作。我在我叔叔的店里工作。我看到一个年轻人,拿
了一包香烟。
他拿了就开始跑。我非常生气。所以我就追他。我跑得很快。他是个年轻的黑人,所以他也很
快。他跑进了地铁站,但地铁站锁门了。
所以他现在被困住了。是的,无处可逃。我看起来挺强壮的,他害怕了。
然后他掏出了一把枪。
这是我生平第一次。有人用枪指着我。一瞬间,你的嘴巴变得非常干。所以
想象一下,当一支庞大的军队包围他们,充满恐惧和恐怖时,他们一定感受到了什么。
然后他们开始哭泣,开始向主祷告。神给了他们一个非常美好的信息。
他说,你们甚至不必争战。我必为你们争战。
他说,派出你们的敬拜团队,当他们开始敬拜时,敌人就会混乱,自相残杀。

祂配得被认识。我们必须认识这位神。
关于神,有些部分我们无法知道,也有些部分我们不可能知道。
例如,当神说,我是神,昨日、今日、一直到永远,是一样的,我是不改变的。
这是我们无法理解的,因为我们会改变。神说我是无处不在的。祂知道每一根头发。祂知道你头
发的数目。这些是我们不知道的关于神的事。
但有些关于神的事是我们知道的。祂是良善的。这位大能的神是一位爱的神。
这对我们是非常、非常好的消息。所以让我们再看看我们的邻座。
对他们说:”神就是爱。”有一段经文在我们的圣经中重复出现,它告诉我们关于神。就是”耶和华
有怜悯,有恩典,不轻易发怒,且有丰盛的慈爱。”(诗篇103篇)。它告诉我们神是谁。
相比之下,祂非常、非常仁慈。意思是,当祂看我们时,就像父亲看他的儿子一样。我的两个儿
子都有湿疹。他们有湿疹。
他们一生都在抓痒。每当他们抓痒,我的眼睛会自动看过去。带着极大的怜悯。我能做什么来消
除它呢?很多时候我无能为力。只有心痛。同样地,神也以极大的怜悯看待我们。
所以今天我们要看一段我们都知道、非常著名的经文。路加福音第15章,浪子的比喻。如果你是
一个基督徒,你可能想关掉(不听)。这部电影我看过太多遍了。我女儿喜欢《冰雪奇缘》这部
电影。
那是一部迪士尼电影,《冰雪奇缘》。她三岁的时候,一天可能看五遍。所以你可能听过这个故
事,但这仍然是神的话语。
当我们的心被更新时,旧的事物可以变成新的;当我们的心是好的时候,我们已经知道的事情每
次品尝起来也是好的。

倍、六十倍、一百倍的果实。
奉耶稣的名,阿们。当我刚成为基督徒时,我花了很多年做 homeless ministry(关怀无家可归
者的事工)。在做这件事的过程中,实际上我就是这样认识了我的妻子。当你帮助无家可归者
时,神有办法祝福你。但这很重要。我们帮助无家可归者不是因为我们想要祝福,而是因为那是
神的心意。那是神的心。
我之所以开始这项事工,是因为我听到布鲁克林一位牧师的见证。那是美国较大的教会之一。他
是一位白人牧师。

但他的会众大多是黑人。教会经历了大复兴。那时在纽约,有很多无家可归者,很多吸毒者,布
鲁克林有很多非常贫困的人。在这间教堂周围,有很多酗酒的无家可归者。
所以他分享了一个见证:一天晚上有一个祷告会,当他呼召人们到前面来接受祷告时,他注意到
一个无家可归的人上来了。
他说他当时很累,因为他主持了很多祷告会。他不想花太多时间在这个无家可归者身上,所以他
准备了一些钱,打算给他然后让他走。
当这个人走近时,他说他开始闻到味道。所以那人是个严重的酗酒者。他流落街头。你知道,是
他自己的尿液味。他去了他的家。
他全身闻起来像厕所一样。味道太糟糕了,他在那里就能闻到。所以他走过去,试图把他准备好
的钱给他,说:”哦,给你,这是我所有的了。”
这个无家可归的人说:”我不要钱。我听说你谈论耶稣。我不要你的钱。我想要你谈论的这位耶
稣。”牧师立刻哭了起来。
他觉得自己像个骗子。当那人说”我想要耶稣”时,圣灵降临了。神爱的能力。他对牧师说,那个
味道消失了。他说他开始闻到非常美好的香气。他说,神对牧师说:”如果你不爱这个味道,
我就不能使用你。”他们拥抱了。牧师把他带回了家。好几个月,他开始戒酒。他变得清醒了。那
天他分享见证时,那个人就在教会里。
那个无家可归的人出来,在一个超过一万人的教会里讲道。那个无家可归的人,十年后,他成为
了一名牧师。
他出来讲道。那个见证对我触动非常大。我立刻去了宾州车站寻找无家可归者。

我寻找味道最重的人。我看到一个坐轮椅的男人。皮肤非常、非常黑。我走近了一点。
就是他了。就是他了。我说,耶稣啊,是的,我能经历你的爱了。我要这么做。我记得我就走过
去,拥抱了他。等待着神的爱降临。
但相反,当我吸气时,感觉像吸进了醋。就像醋一样。所以我就像这样抱着他。
然后我看着祂,眼里含着泪水。但那不是出于爱。但你知道,这些年来我会分享这个。我开始越
来越多地明白神的爱。我分享这类故事。这位牧师经历了神的心。所以我们在这个浪子的故事中
看到
我希望我们真正关注每个角色。我们有父亲和两个儿子。我们都知道那个向父亲索要遗产的二儿
子。
我不知道你们是否有孩子,但如果你的一个孩子来对你说:”嘿,把我的遗产给我。”这等同于
说:”哦,我希望你死,父亲。”但是神,我是说,父亲把遗产给了他。
那么,这是什么样的父亲?这不合常理。耶稣是故意这样做的。祂想让我们思考。于是二儿子拿
了这笔钱,他去了远方,在那里挥霍钱财,吃喝嫖赌,生活放荡。然后那地遭遇了饥荒。他没有
钱了。他不好意思回家。所以他不得不为别人工作。
他不得不做最糟糕的工作之一:喂猪。经文说他饿极了。他说他想吃猪所吃的食物。
这里说,非常重要,说他”醒悟过来”,他想起来他的父亲很富有。他记得他的父亲有很多食物,
甚至连仆人都吃得很好。
他太饿了,他说,不,我不管我的面子了,我必须回家。他开始走回家,并开始准备一篇说辞:”
父亲,我不配称为你的儿子,
把我当作一个雇工吧。”但经文说,父亲远远地看见他,就动了慈心和怜悯,

很有可能他一直在等待他的儿子。他跑向儿子。立刻拥抱他。也许他会凑近。但想象一下,他和
猪在一起,味道该有多难闻。但父亲不在乎。他只想要他的儿子。
我们明白这个吗?所以让我们问一个问题:神是谁?我们又是谁?在我们的生活中,有多少次我
们渴望吃这种(猪食般的)食物?也许这有点严厉,但我是为我自己说的。
一旦我们离开教会,一旦我们开始日常生活,我们中的一些人立刻就迷失了。我们忘记了神爱我
们。我们忘记了信靠主。我们忘记了神的话语是多么宝贵。我们拿着神荣耀和祂爱的产业,却常
常浪费和挥霍它。
在错误的事情上。所以可能到了周一,我们又信佛教了。周二我们成了穆斯林。周三我们信孔
子。所以这个故事显示了我们的状况。但好消息是……
神总是准备好接纳我们。祂不在乎我们是否肮脏。不管我们做了什么,都没关系。我们只需要转
向主,归向神。祂必拥抱我们。现在,我想谈的第二个角色是那个大儿子。
第二个想法,非常愤怒。他说,我留在家里,作一个孝顺的儿子,我如此努力地工作。没有人给
我办过聚会。为什么父亲要为像他这样的人举办这么盛大的聚会?
这是一个非常好的问题。如果你是一个基督徒,这是一个非常好的问题。我祷告这么多。我每件
事都做对了。我去教会,我读圣经。我的聚会在哪里?为什么生活这么艰难?发生了什么?理解
基督徒的旅程是非常重要的。
所以让我们明白一个真理。基督徒生活的目标之一,是神正在把我们塑造成耶稣的形象。如果你
是一个信徒,并且你有圣灵,你正在被转变,成为耶稣的形象。所以沿着这条基督徒旅程,首先
你认识神,你知道祂是多么良善,你可能为神火热,爱神,一切都那么好。
第二阶段是门徒训练和结果子的生活。你读圣经,你去教会,你参加所有的祷告会,你大量学习
神的话语。那是第二阶段。

基督徒旅程的第三阶段是,在旅程中发生了一些坏事,一些你不理解的事情——你尊敬的牧师出
了什么事,或者你的家人去世了,一些你无法理解的事情发生了。
在那之后,你开始向内看。有很多问题。你开始问,是不是我的脸(面子/外表)出了问题?然后
你撞上了一堵墙。
不再有神的美好感觉。也许神没有应允你的祷告。很多人卡在这堵墙这里。
我敢说,大多数教会没有项目或方法来帮助人们度过这堵墙。
尤其是在亚洲、韩国、中国教会,尤其是因为太多的羞耻感,但美国教会也是如此。所以我们看
约瑟的故事。一个例子。我们看约瑟的故事。他的兄弟们背叛他,把他卖为奴隶。那是一堵墙。
为什么会发生这种事?约瑟必须说,我仍然信靠神,我仍然感恩。他仍然努力工作。他信靠神。
然后他主人的妻子诬告他强奸。
他们把他关进监狱。他有解梦的恩赐。他救了国王仆人的命。但那人忘了他,他仍然在监狱里。
我们经历这场争战。我们不理解为什么这事发生在我身上。很多基督徒卡住了。
他们回到了旧的面貌(老我)。对于一些精力充沛的人,他们试图筑一堵更高的墙来翻越这堵
墙。但这只有通过圣灵才能做到。
这是一个深深降服的地方。
这堵墙是圣灵帮助你放下所有梦想的地方。
这堵墙是你说”不要照我的意思,只要照你的意思”的地方。
在约瑟生命的尽头,他成为一个非常有权势的人,仅次于国王法老,他变得非常强大。那些卖掉
他的兄弟们,他们遭遇了饥荒,所以无处可去,只能去约瑟所在的埃及买粮食。约瑟看见了他的
兄弟们。那些背叛他、卖掉他的兄弟们。
他受了这么多、这么久的苦。现在是他报仇的机会了。但如果你知道这个故事,他没有报仇。他
说:”你们的意思是要害我,但神的意思原是好的。”

这就是穿过这堵墙的意义。重新认识神。当我研究基督教伟人时,我们有两千年的基督教历史。
许多信心伟人都说了非常相似的话。
神是一位我们可以重新遇见的神。这听起来可能像异端,但我所认识的基督教伟大的先辈们,他
们谈论多次的归信(multiple conversions)。他们再次重生。我不知道谁需要听到这个,但我认
为这是神对基督徒的心意。我相信祂要求更深的降服。
让我们回到故事。现在我们都熟悉二儿子回来的故事,父亲拥抱他。而那个大儿子,另一个儿
子,却在向神挥拳。
那里有苦毒。理解这一点非常重要。你知道,使徒行传中有一个地方。有一个行邪术的,一个与
邪灵打交道的人。他的名字叫西门。
他听到保罗传讲福音,他实际上归信了。他看到保罗行奇妙的神迹。人们行走,得到医治。他以
前是这类人。
他试图给保罗钱来购买(圣灵的)恩赐。保罗看着他,严厉地责备他。他说:”你的心在神面前不
正。”我相信保罗也会对这个大儿子说同样的话。这不是很有力吗?有时作为基督徒,我们想为神
做的事,可能出自一个苦毒的地方。有时作为基督徒,我们活出信仰
却是从一个苦毒的地方出发。我说为什么我没有那个?非常危险。我做错了什么?那个人做的每
件事我都做了。为什么那个人蒙祝福,而我却没有蒙祝福?这就是现在整个世界的状况。嫉妒。
那就是苦毒。它是你心中的毒药。所以看看父亲是如何回应的。
你已经拥有了一切。你还缺什么呢?你没有什么呢?你为什么这么努力工作?你有我的保护。你
有我的爱。你是我的孩子。
我所有的一切都是你的。问题出在哪里?这非常令人不安。可能会是这样。想象一下神的感觉。
我想,你们知道,何师母几周前说过一些话。中国有句俗话说,嗯,身在福中不知福。如果我
说,嘿,我今天给你一千万,你会非常高兴。

但明天你就死了
我们不知道自己很幸福。一天的价值是什么?
如果你明天就死,你还想要那一千万吗?他们忘了这点。作为基督徒,我们是最幸福的。我们拥
有天父的爱。我们拥有祂的信任,祂的保护。而我们却像小孩子一样,为小事担忧。
让我讲一个中国故事。从前有一对父子。他们拥有一匹好马。一天,马跑了。儿子非常伤心。那
匹马值很多钱。
他说,哦,这真是个巨大的诅咒。我们家完了。但父亲说,哦,你怎么知道呢?也许这是祝福。
一天,那匹马回来了。
还带回来一匹又大又强壮的马。他们变得富有,有了更多的马。儿子说,哦,这真是个巨大的祝
福。那位睿智的父亲说,你怎么知道这是祝福呢?也许它是诅咒?一天,儿子骑马时从马上摔下
来,摔断了腿。
然后镇上的每个人都嘲笑他。你以为你富了,但现在你摔断了腿。儿子说,哦,我的人生毁了。
我不能走路了。他说,这真是个巨大的诅咒。
那位睿智的父亲说,你怎么知道?也许这是祝福。然后战争爆发了。战争?所有男人都必须去打
仗。在那场战争中,90%的男人都死了。
因为他残疾了,他不能去打仗。所以他必须照顾他的父亲,他活得很长寿。我们无法预知。在箴
言第3章……
你要专心仰赖耶和华,不可倚靠自己的聪明,在你一切所行的事上都要认定他,
他必指引你的路。我给大家布置一个作业。这也是我知道僧侣们也做的一个技巧。但要每天练
习。

这也是我给大家布置的作业。每一天,提醒自己要信靠主,祂必为你争战,祂必看顾你,并在你
一切所行的事上不住地祷告。
永不中断沟通。永不停止祷告。永不停止感恩。并且要喜乐。喜乐的心乃是良药。主必指引你的
脚步,所以你不需要明白所有事。耶和华定准你的脚步。你不需要明白任何事。但你可以明白这
个故事。
神的话语所说的。神对你伟大的怜悯。对你丰盛的慈爱。即使我们闻起来像无家可归者,即使我
们酗酒,把我们的生活搞得一团糟。
就像我的孩子跑掉了,我会永远欢迎他回来。正如你已经知道的,如果你的孩子遇到某种问题,
父亲会有更多的爱。
当你的孩子以前有问题时,当你的爱是50%时,当他们有问题时,你的爱是100%。这就是神。
你可以信靠祂。每一天。
你可以呼求祂,说:”主啊,提醒我你的爱。”你应该寻找基督徒。你可能已经信主10年、20年、
30年了。神总是希望我们成长。那意味着更多的耶稣。
与祂同行。爱祂并被祂所爱。所以这个故事是我们所有人的故事。虽然我们称之为浪子的比喻,
但根据提姆·凯勒的说法,这实际上是关于一位”挥霍”的神(prodigal god)。”prodigal”在中文
里是……这就是迷失的儿子的比喻。所以”prodigal”这个词的意思是……
所以我们看到二儿子,他花尽了一切。他非常鲁莽。他花钱如流水,好像钱是无限的。同样地,
这实际上是关于神,祂是过度”挥霍”的。祂只是在乎。我们都知道阳光照在每个人身上。
神不会对恶人隐藏太阳。每个人都得到这阳光……神是极其慷慨的。当我们去认识神时,我可以
改变某些事情。
但我感觉我们这里大多数人都在挣扎,难以理解这样的神。你们中的许多人需要很多年才能理解
这样的神。祂的爱是毫无条件的。
你什么都不需要做。祂爱你,祂接纳你。有很长一段时间,我无法理解这样的神。即使作为牧
师,我也无法理解这样的神。

你知道,有句韩国谚语说,比如,当我妻子问我,你为什么爱我?如果我说,哦,因为你漂亮,
哦,那我就有大麻烦了。
给出理由是危险的。因为有一天,我的妻子会70、80岁。那些理由将会消失。所以在韩国,当有
人问你为什么爱我时,我们只是说,意思就是”只是”。
就是爱。没有理由。你想要一个理由。你为什么爱我?我就是爱你。你的所有部分。我接纳。因
此,你接纳你自己。我领受神爱的一个主要障碍是我无法接纳自己。
如果你想看看你在哪里不接纳自己,看看你如何对待你的孩子。那是一面镜子。我们说,不要做
这个,不要做那个,不要做这个。
如果你注意,你对自己也做同样的事。你对自己有那么多部分无法接纳。神说了什么?我接纳
你?你的所有部分。
所以接纳你自己。对我来说,很长一段时间我与愤怒挣扎。因为我不接纳自己。但当我意识到神
接纳我,祂看见它时。
就有了平安。这很有力。恐惧,也是一样。不管怎样,我想我说得太多了。我可以讲很长时间。
恐惧也是一样。神接纳并爱。你必须一遍又一遍地听到这个。从来没有一个人曾向你展示过这种
爱。没有人。
纯粹的100%的恩典。所以让我们祷告。感谢你天父。有时我们看不清你的本相。你曾对约拿
说,他们”不能分辨左手和右手”。他们分不清左手和右手。在十字架上你说:”他们所做的,他们
不晓得。”你对我们的怜悯。
你早已知道我们不理解自己。你知道我们所有的挣扎。你知道我们为什么去吃猪食。你并不审判
我们。你只呼唤我们回家。回到父家。你不需要受苦。我为你预备了筵席。这就是你的本相。柔
软我们的心,使我们可以领受你的爱。
